Zero Conflict of Interest - We Are the Solution

We recommend that all testing, except for diagnostic testing, be performed by a second party as we feel it is a conflict of interest to test for radon as well as performing mitigation services. Ask us for a list of highly qualified testing companies listed by area. Or, if you prefer, we can provide you with information about testing your home yourself. Once it's determined you have elevated levels of radon, we will make the installation process easy. Remember, it's recommended that all homes be checked for radon every two years as environmental conditions can cause radon levels to change with time.

Radon Mitigation Systems

There are three main types of radon mitigation systems. The most common type is a sub-slab suction system. The second is sub-membrane suction, used to mitigate crawl space areas. Sometimes these systems are combined to treat homes with combination foundations, and they are referred to as a combination system. The third type of radon mitigation system is a heat recovery ventilation system or HRV. This system is used for very specialized radon issues.

The design of a radon mitigation system should be based on the most effective system to lower the radon levels as much as possible. The appearance of the system should also be taken into consideration, and, in most cases, the system can be installed in a fashion that does not affect the appearance of the home or the way a person uses the home. Our skilled pros help you understand what is being done and why, every step of the way. Call us today at 540-820-5891.
